After a frustrating 1st day of training (I will tell you why I was frustrated on that day separately), there was a group dinner organised for us that night. All of the Asian countries counterparts and myself gathered at the lobby of the hotel and we all departed in a double decker bus to the restaurant.
Well, honestly, even though I have been to Singapore several times, but I am still very unfamilar with the place. I didn't really get to travel and explore much in Singapore every time I was there. It was always just a purely business trip. I did explore Singapore once back in 2008 on my own, but I went to the tourist attractions like for the night safari, museum and etc.
So, when the bus was taking us to the restaurant, I totally didn't have any idea where were we going to. I knew we passed by Clark Quay and that's it.......
The restaurant located quite far away from our hotel. It was about 10 - 15 minutes bus ride, I think. And finally.....we arrived at.......

Menu for the night
It was at Majestic Hotel. A rustic, semi-old-semi renovated building. The lobby looked contemporary on one side, and the other was decorated with olden day's furnitures.
This was the view outside

I enjoyed the ambience and decoration of the place, but I didn't enjoy the dinner. The Chinese food wasn't good. I find Singaporean food not as good as Malaysian's. I did discuss this topic with Leroy as he has good taste/ selection with food but he did tell me maybe it was because I am being bred and brought up in Malaysia all this while. Maybe....maybe....
Leroy's brother was also in Singapore the same period as me, except that his trip duration was longer than mine. We contacted each other via BBM but we didn't get to meet up or hang out due to our schedules.I was really tired that night after dinner. I had a migrain and so I took Panadol and hit the bed after bath till the next morning. It was time for me to leave Singapore that afternoon......
