The few stressful days of mine

As I mentioned in my latest blog entry – that how I wished I have a clone of myself….It all started with…

I was busy with my Monday’s event. It was a Sebastian Professional new collection event. Even though I have been busy working on this project and putting everything on hold; I was extremely stressed up on the eve of the event day.

18th June, night.

I had to lead a group dinner with the North American artists – Marci Landgraf and Joshua Wagner. I picked them up from Empire Hotel and headed out for a Mexican dinner. It was great to meet them, the Artists. Marci is a little plastic (fake), but Joshua is a very nice and easy going person. He is a bit shy, but he is better than Marci, in terms of personality. Marci scanned me from head to toe and she could even see my ‘shattered nails' (it is called shattered because I applied OPI’s latest product called Shattered) in the dark yellow lights restaurant. I ended the night quite early with them because they just flew in from the States in the afternoon and I bet they were tired.

19th June, morning.

I had to be in the office at 7am. There were preparation work going on in our studio with the Marci and Joshua. Again, I was the driver to pick both of them up from the hotel to our office. It was a running around day. I had to baby sit them in the sense of taking care of their drinks and food. Marci in particular is very health conscious. She requested to have nuts and fruits for her snacks. My other colleagues were there to help them with the hair coloring of the models.

Betty Anne was here as well. She came in to brief the artists on the program rundown and who is doing what. Yes, Betty Anne is my production house who I liaise with. She is also my mama-san for the top models that we engaged.

Everyone started to leave at 12ish once all of the hair was colored and trimmed. My other colleague sent the artists back to the hotel while I stayed back to clear up the place. Sigh, me clearing up the place or shall I say mess? Hmm….I was quite disappointed. Where is the team work? Not everything and every time that I have to voice out seeking for help. Some people can just extend a helping hand anytime. But, NONE. Disappointed. Very. Who doesn't want to enjoy the weekend?

19th June,midnight

Empire Hotel. Was there for the set up. I didn’t have to worry about the production house’s side, but I was more worried on the poster with truss. The guys finally could start work at 1.30am. They placed the carpet underlay and we had to do a few rounds of adjustments before the truss were finally locked down. I was not quite comfortable about the placement and the size of the poster, but that is so far the best location. My heart was still not in peace. Kept on worrying how to tell my boss the next day.

Left at 3.30am and got home about 3.45am. I didn’t want to hit the bed, and instead I watched a DVD and waited for time to get ready. I knew if I were to sleep, I will feel even more tired. Waited for time, as I needed to hit to the hotel again at 6am.

Seemed like a one man show? No, it was just that I was the key contact person for almost everything.

I wished I had a clone so that this clone can help me executing and handling the thousand and one matters, just how I wanted it to be.
