Pharaohs of Form - Sebastian's Collection

For 25 years Shaper has been part of the most memorable shapes, symbols and legends on the world’s fashion stage. In conjunction with this 25 years anniversary celebration, Sebastian Professional unveiled the hair collection, Pharaohs of Form in collaboration with Sebastian Design Team- Marci Landgraf and Joshua Wagner, who are from North America along with Kenza Lum who is based in Malaysia.

The mystical Egyptian themed event was held at Empire Hotel’s ballroom, Subang Jaya. The event was attended by 200 stylists from the local hair industry (West Malaysia) and media partners.

“Pharaohs of Form is the latest collection inspired by an ancient Egyptian era where hair was the headdress and shape was its style. The inspiration of this collection is mysticism, nature and rock and roll. The Sebastian Artistic Design Team transform this inspiration into realities, shaping and re-shaping until the ideal form is achieved.”

The hairstyles were smooth curves and geometric angles, un-done bobs, strong fringes and beveled edges. Hair is shaped and re-shaped by the must- have selection of Sebastian hairsprays – Re-shaper for re-moldable versatility, Shaper Zero Gravity for lightness and Shaper Fierce for strong hold.

Striking, sculptural and de-constructed, this is the stuff legends are made of.
