Steamy Saturday

It was Saturday and I was somehow craving for steamboat. Leroy came to pick me up pretty late and I was kinda starving as I had my lunch around 1pm. The noodles I had wasn't yummy so I didn't eat much of it.

I told Leroy my cravings and we wanted to dine at our usual steamboat restaurant, but it was packed. So, Leroy suggested to take me somewhere else....where he said the herbal soup is really good.

In no time, we reached Damansara. The restaurant was as packed but there were still patrons. Maybe it's because the compound of this restaurant is big and spacious.

So I left the food ordering to him. Wow, that night, we had steamboat, with prawns still half alive (could see them jumping when I poked them and when they went into the hot pot), clams and bamboo clams.

I noticed the waiter mixed a small bottle of dark colored liquid into the herbal soup. I curiously asked him what was it. It's chinese wine - 6 types of wine. Yum...that was the recipe! The extra 6 types of wine made the soup taste so nice...

I was stuffed after eating and drinking (the soup). Phew! A great dinner indeed. A little bit pricey, but for quality food, it is worth it.
Thanks, dear!
