Cheats

There are so many kind of cheats happening around us.
1. Cheat during exams
2. Cheat in playing games
3. Cheat in business / work
4. Cheat on a partner in a relationship
5. Cheat on parents / family members

I am sure there are more out there. Which one is the worst? Which one will hurt one the worst? Why would someone want to cheat. Some are desperate or peer pressure to get good results; some needs the cash flow; some just find the thrill in doing it; and maybe some made a hasty decision....

This is what I call - the world.

Help needed

Help!!!!! I can't concentrate with what I am doing now......

How?!!!!!!

It came

It was finally here. I was uncertain about how he felt initially, until I met up with him and saw his expression. New responsibilities, new environment. I am happy for him. I wish him all the best and will be there to support him always. I know he will succeed in this new role. :) I look forward for a even brighter future for him.

All will go well!

Gonna End Soon

It's gonna be over soon; in just another 2 days. My 'honeymoon' period is over and things will be back to the hustle and bustle times. My motivation and support is back; always keeping me on my toes. :)

Food Indulger

Once in awhile, when I have my "Me time", I will bring myself to enjoy the food that I love. After a hectic day or on feeling the moody blues, it is just great to pamper myself...with FOOD. Hahaha...

What do you do to treat yourself?

Amazed with the action

" She left her boyfriend waited in the car by the road side while she went down enjoyed a plate of BBQ chicken wings at the stall. After feeling satisfied and happy, she hopped back into the car without packing any for him."

My jaw dropped when I heard this. I wonder how did the boyfriend feel, or maybe he didn't mind at all? But anyhow, I don't think I will be able to do this unless it's my boyfriend's request. Hhmmm....

I am still amazed.

Random thoughts

3.58pm, sitting here at my cubical. I do have work to do, but my mind is wandering around...distant.

I have not been really blogging much off late. This will be a random - thoughts-came-to-mind blog entry....

It's July and soon it will be ending. I wonder where is my life heading to? Career and job - checked, I am enjoying my work. Love life - checked, I am happy with who I am with but not taking to the next level yet. Family - all ok. What's next, I wonder?

I got to know a feedback last week when a friend of mine met up with my ex-buyer - the person whom I used to deal with in my previous company. I used to get shit from her (but she is a nice person as a friend). Apparently she felt that I was better in terms of working with her, managing her account as compared to the present's. I was really happy and glad to know her positive feedback on me. At least, my effort at that time wasn't flushed down the toilet. =) It was worth it, worth the scolding and screaming. How ironic, when a person cherished you but it wasn't told earlier or personally.

My boss has been away for almost a month now. She is on her family vacation in Europe. We chatted a short while over Whatsapp last night and she asked how is everything and everyone in the office. All are good, except for some issues, which I wished she was here so that I could discuss with her. Anyhow, I guess that is how a person learn how to manage issues and grow, right?

Ok, I think I better get back to work on the press releases.

Ciao!

Birthday Dinner at TTDI

Friday evening. It was a wet, rainy day. I drove to Leroy's house; met up with him before going in his car to TTDI for a birthday dinner. Traffic was heavy all the way to Damansara. It was slightly better after the toll.

We arrived at Porto Romano, TTDI after about 45mins to 1 hour. My my....
It was my first time dining at this Italian restaurant. The ambiance and decor are rather cozy and romantic. Simple. Nothing super posh.

We ordered our food after scanning through the menu. The rest of the group arrived earlier than us so they have decided what to eat.

While waiting for the rest to finish and while the girls were busy chit chatting away, the boys had something to keep themselves occupied - online Street Fighter on Iphone...

Baked mussels with cheese

Salmon Spaghetti

Garlic pizza which looked like garlic naan to us

Some shots of the restaurant, just in case you plan to dine there one day.

The finale - a tiramisu for the birthday girl. It was a belated birthday celebration, though. The desserts selection aren't just the best.

Before we left, we had a group photo at the bar area. Love this pic. =)

Restaurant verdict : Nice ambiance, nothing great about the food.

The Wanna Be

This photo speaks for itself. Since when Audi came up with a new Kelisa version?

Take a guess

Fookies.
Can you figure out who is who?

A Cold drink on a Hot day

Sunday afternoon: -

Wow, it was a super warm, sunny day. Just before I headed to Leroy's house, I got the both of us bubble tea from Chatime. =)
It's just great to have a cool drink during a hot day and while playing online games together.

Uncomfortable

I am currently feeling a little uncomfortable. Not at ease; not in peace. Something is bothering me.

Maybe it is just one of those days or maybe not? I hope to feel all cheery and happy again.

Priceless time together

I came across an article when I was flipping through one of the magazines just now.

It was about couples going on a vacation together, just the two of them to somewhere...it can be a place where both have not been to, or it can the same vacation spot. 2 people exploring the new place together, enjoy and indulge in what both like the most; spending a real quiet, quality time together, away from the hustle and bustle and distraction of the usual days. It is all the fun that both have that matters; putting their worries and work stress behind temporarily.

This quality time together contributes to a better understanding of the couple; discovering each other even deeper. The bonding time just ties the couple even closer. It is priceless.

I look forward for that day to come.

Walked through the Red Door that afternoon

It was last week that I attend an event. I was invited to attend a PR event at ilLido, KL. After being super busy and stressed out the first 3 days of the week, I took it a little easier on the 4th day.

It was my first time visiting this venue. The building is a high class Italian fine dining restaurant. It is a small venue and I am amazed that it can fit 70 -80 pax. Anyway, it is a nice, quiet area, perfect for couples for a romantic night. :)

I walked towards the Red Door....

I went up to level 2. Opps, but that wasn't where I was supposed to be. I was supposed to be at level 1 first. :P But, before I left level 2, I managed to capture a few shots of the decorated place...without any disturbance.

A yard to hang around.. the weather was cooling that day...but later it rained.

Finally, I found my team members and it was time to register. The dress code for the event was Chic in Red. So, I dressed in black and red....didn't want to over do it in red.

Yea, I was busy saying something in the photo below. *blush*

It was an exclusive PR media event for Elizabeth Arden. It was a 100 years celebration and relaunch of Red Door fragrance. The venue was tastefully decorated. There was a jazz band to complement the event's ambience before it actually started.

there were 2 VIPs from EA came to grace the event. There was a short interview on the brand, brand's direction and future.

Oh my, this Russian model was the highlight of the afternoon. She is really one tall person - I am only at her shoulder (don't forget I was in heels too).

This photo was taken together with the Regional Manager of EA. I like this photo because of the color combination. It looked so radiant. :)

And this is a solo photo of me. =)

...And this ? It was my door gift! Watch out for this newly relaunched perfume in departmental stores 2 months from now!!!

What a Weekend...!

It caused havoc on the roads last Friday evening, thanks to the "Bersih" Rally. Sigh. Despite leaving the office at 6.15pm, it took me an hour to reach home (normally it only takes 12-15 minutes max without any traffic jam). All of the exits going to downtown were either closed or had police roadblocks. I made sure I wasn't dressed in Yellow or Red that day.

Yup, I was practically stranded or grounded at home on Saturday. I didn't go anywhere, neither did Leroy and I met up. So, I was watching DVDs, snacking, playing online games and sleeping throughout the day. How exciting! (*Sarcastically)

Finally, came Sunday. So being bored enough staying at home, I went out for lunch with my family. Had a scrumptious lunch at PJ State. The cooling weather was just great sitting at the open air restaurant.

In the evening, sent my car for a wash and headed to Leroy's house. Later, we went out for a nice dinner nearby his place before heading to Bro Stevie's house. We hung out and as usual, the guys were playing the online games, connected to the cyber world using their limitless BB, and me? I was doing my office work. [Luckily Leroy didn't merajuk on me working on a weekend. Hehe]

Bro Stevie just came back from his hometown with a load full of fresh fruits. He offered me the best durian! Yummm......it had been so long since I had durian. Guess what, I told myself that I will just taste 1 or 2 pieces, but ended up?! I finished the whole durian! Ahhh......please help me to calculate the calories I had over this weekend. :~((

But overall, it was a nice weekend. The best part is, I have Monday as my extended weekend! I am on my replacement day off!!! Yay!

Review: Cheeeessseeeeeee Biskitz

Out of the blues, while I was walking down Giant's aisle....I spotted this. With the convenient packaging, I bought it to give it a try.

This baked fried cheese biscuits tasted nice. Even though it is a little dry, but it is a healthier version of Cheezels.

So, if you want to snack while trying to keep fit, this may be an option? I wonder.

Coffee Memories

It had been such a long time since I last tasted this brand's white coffee......Yum...it is yummy and it surely brought back some memories.
