The boy & the girl

Both the boy and girl were playing online games together.....both sitting side by side.

Suddenly...

Girl: "Damn..! There is this person keep on attacking me and left me with no health! Argghhh....."

Boy: (asked in a very cool manner) "What is the name?"

The girl gave him the name.

Girl peeped at his laptop....he looked that player up and attacked him....killed him! (The boy's character is higher level and he owns more powerful weapons than her). The girl was laughing and feeling all relieve! She hugged him!

The boy stood by the girl and took the people down who bullied her (in the game).

Sunday Blues

Maybe it was because of the late night and also being lazy, I woke up at noon and later took a nap again at 3pm. Sigh...

I was sleepy and somewhat tired. But, I dreamt of the work I have to do...Double sigh...

We had quite a bit of food during the trip.

There was one of the nights, we, the 'countries -in -crime' met up and headed out for dinner at Chinatown. These was how much of food we ordered. Phew! Food for 7 people.

On a separate occasion, it was the 4 of us (including my boss) had dinner together. Each of us had our individual portion and on top, we ordered a dish to share. Check it out! Again, the table was filled with food.

I had this set dinner in one of the shopping malls. SGD8 for these!

And....coffee was my best friend throughout the trip. Had 2 cups every morning before heading to the MRT station. :P

Dinner at RiverWalk

It was the second day of the workshop. As usual, it was intense; if not, it will not be called a workshop? We left the office and went back to the hotel to change into more comfortable clothes and shoes. The 4 of us then took a cab to the River Walk for the group dinner.

The Italian restaurant was filled with us (the indoor section); the marketing folks and the creative people; from the whole ASEAN region.

The food took awhile to be served, so both KW and myself took a walk outside. It was a beautiful evening. Breezy and not too warm.

In between meals, we went around 'socialising' as well. Below is my counterpart from Hong Kong. First time meeting him in person.

Cannelloni- Fresh pasta rolled and stuffed with chicken, herbs and baked with béchamel sauce

Fillet of seabass baked with tomato & pine nuts served with caponata of vegetables

Pan cake filled with pastry cream and served with vanilla ice cream

Right, so after a few toasts and sips, I was feeling tipsy. Man! I have not been drinking anything alcoholic for so long. A few sips almost made me black out. Needed some fresh air, so again the both of us went out for a walk.

The night scenery at the Riverwalk was pretty; or maybe it was the wine that made me see things beautifully..... :P

A week at Singapore

Felt like as if it was a long time since I wrote about something here; blog about some happenings.

I just got back from Singapore, from a week of workshop for the brands that I work for. The whole week was draining as there were a lot of information shared and marketing plans deployed to us. There were also some 'major discussion' sessions.

Leroy sent me to the airport that morning. I met up with my 2 other colleagues and left for Singapore that Sunday afternoon. It was a smooth flight. We took a cab to the hotel at Orchard and on the way I saw this.

The above captured my attention. The poster was right beside the hotel that we stayed in. It was an advertisement of Abercrombie and Fitch.

This was taken while we were waiting for our friend to arrive to meet us for dinner that night. She took us out that night. :)

The view outside from my room. It was nice to go out of the country once in awhile (even though this wasn't the ideal way as it was for work). But, I felt it was refreshing to be out of office for some time.

We didn't do much that night except for dinner and some catch up session as we had to be at the office as early as 9am the next morning.

I'm Coming Home...

The workshop/meeting in Singapore is ending soon and soon I will be home...back for a good weekend, to have a good rest and to my family and darling, of course...!

Away for a week

In another 12 hours, I will be on the plane to the Land of Kiasuness. I will be away for a week this time round. Staying in the same posh hotel along Orchard Road. :) Too bad, this is a business trip and not a vacation.

Making others happy makes me happy

It's great to see someone smile. I just love seeing people feeling happy. I feel good.

My new motto now is to make others happy :)

Popped by and Left

It had been such a long time. I used to attend happening events and launches, but I stopped for awhile (I didn't get to attend much event when I was doing sales for a year and since last year). I disappeared for some time from all these social events; somehow I just felt 'lazy' or 'old' attending them. Somehow I am just purely lazy to entertain. :P

So, it was 2 Fridays ago that I attend Jessica Magazine's launch event at Publika, Solaris. I 'gave face' to the 'used- to- be -beauty -writer' who is now the magazine's editor by attending her event. It was a new venue for me to check out. I didn't stay too long at the event.

This was the Polaroid shot that we had together. It was a short, nice event that night. I met up with the people I used to deal with and also a celebrity.

Things are getting smoother and people are getting closer now... I am very happy about it. I am looking forward to it to be even better in the coming days!
