It was rather a long day in the office. Who said year end is the relax period where there is not much work to do? Hmm....probably those lucky ones.. Anyway, I wanted to leave earlier for a last minute Christmas shopping, but ended up locking up and leaving the office at 730pm. My boss had an impromptu teleconference, so had no choice to wait because I am the key bearer.
I decided not to meet up with Leroy. Later, he whatsapp me telling me that he had to attend a business dinner. It was great timing! At least I had some time to do my own things.
So, I still made my way to the nearest mall, Subang Parade to get 2 pressies. One for the person who gave me the present in the morning and one for my ex-colleague who will be getting married on New Year's day. Thought it is better to give him a gift as I am not attending his wedding dinner.
I regretted doing the last minute shopping. It was all jammed up going to the mall. Parking - had to park my car real far away from the lifts and the shops in the mall was just full! Everywhere I walked to was filled with humans.
I quickly decided on what to buy and walked to the particular shop. Grabbed them and left.
Phew. By the time I got home was 9pm. I gobbled down mum's salmon porridge and went to my room. I was feeling really lousy because of the runny nose. Took a pill and dozed off in front of the TV. Later I woke up, had my shower and went to bed properly. Thanks to the cold weather, I am down with cold.
