In just a week away, Chinese will be ushering in the year of the dragon. I will be on 1 week holiday. Well, I am not sure what will I be doing during that week's break, just hope there is 'something' to do and not rotting away doing nothing.
I can already anticipate how is this year's CNY (Chinese New Year) will be like:
1. Go to church on Monday morning for blessings (1st day of CNY)
2. Brunch or lunch with family after church (Indian cuisine)
3. After lunch, either go to mama's eldest aunty's house to visit or will head for home if they are not around
4. Day 2 will probably be following Leroy to visit his relatives (TBC)
5. Day 3 till resume work will be just lazing at home or at Leroy's place and out for movies
And the highlight of every CNY is to face the Golden Question:
"So when are you getting married?"
Hhmmmm.....I have been getting this question for the past don't know how many years from the same people. Some questions are just meant to be asked once or twice and not every time/ year. Whenever I get this question, it will either be a smile to brush it off or "don't know" reply.
Let me see if my prediction for this year hits the jackpot ya?
