There was a drama last week at the resort.
I was at the toilet, preparing to go for a dip. But, when I unlocked the door, it got stuck. I tried to open it many times, gently and violently. But it didn't work. Instead, the lock came out! Look at the series of happenings below. After being trapped in the toilet for 10 minutes or so, I finally got out.....we called the maintenance guy to come and get it fixed.
After some drama and dipping ourselves in the pool, our appetite was worked out. We were hungry. We headed to a local seafood restaurant in the "jungle". The GPS couldn't even locate the restaurant.
The drive there was actually quite dark and in to the empty oil palm plantation / jungle (couldn't see much because my eyes were focusing on the small, dark road. The restaurant was filled with local patrons.
We ordered so much that night.
The below was mango prawns. The prawns were so fresh and huge!
7 dishes in total for RM140 - Steamed fish, mango prawns, fried mantis prawns with dried chili, 1.5kg of baked crabs with salted egg, 2 vegetables, chicken and fried oyster.
Oh my......the meal was really scrumptious and fresh. Forgettable.
We took a walk around the resort after dinner. We were so full...
The resort is really serene and quiet at night (despite being fully booked).
