Being a Labour to Mother Nature on Labour's Day

1 May. A new Month.

I woke up as usual, as if I was going to work despite it was Labour's Day. I made my way for a new experience. The sky was slowly being lit up by Mr Sun.

I reached my friend's house at 7.45am. I hopped into her car and off we went to meet up with the rest. I know some of them, and some were new 'friends'.

Our outing for the morning was to climb "Ah Pak San" (which is also known as White Hill. Direct translation to English is Uncle's Hill) in Cheras. We reached the foot hill and started our journey at 8.40am. In this 2.5 hours, it was heck of a great experience.

The journey started off ok for me ( a lack of exercise person)....but later as we went deeper into the hill, my stamina was put to the test.

There are total of 8 levels for this hill. We stopped at level 1 for a short rest. Many uncles were exercising there... healthy!

This was another pit stop at level 3. Phew...! I was feeling tired and legs were really worked out!

Me in the woods......all wet and red. Panting for breath.

Bergaya with the walking stick (it was my friend's).

While climbing the hill, I enjoyed mother nature.

A group photo with the rest of the ladies.

After climbing 4/8 levels, we came to a stream. It was a pretty sight.

Again, we had a rest.

Great moment there. Water was cold, air was fresh.

And a photo with my buddy.

This was one steep slope. We walked down it on the way out of the hill. The soil was slightly wet.

And so after about 2.5 hours, we completed 4/8 levels. All of us went for brunch at the nearby restaurant.

Before I left, my buddy took me for my favourite dessert in KL. Yummy.....a cool mango saga after a long walk.

I totally knocked out after having a nice bath. All cleaned up and it was time for a nap.......before meeting up with my darling for dinner.

I will go hill climbing again......when I have recuperate from this... :P
