A great one....

I had a great, long weekend.

I did nothing but enjoyed myself over the long weekend.

On Thursday night, we went for Star Trek last minute.

On Friday night, we played snooker till past midnight.

On Saturday afternoon, I went for a haircut. It was about 4 months ago since my last visit to the salon. What do you think of it?

After that, met up with my darling for Fast & Furious 6. Very exciting and entertaining. Had a simple dinner and headed for our usual practice. :)

This morning I woke up slightly earlier than my Sunday's timing and went for a 1.5 hour of full body massage with my ex-boss. Feels great and relieved after that. My shoulder, back and legs were just all so stiff.....

This is what I call a good weekend. Tomorrow will be back to the usual stress-ing days....

A weekend getaway to a place like heaven.... (part 1)

I was offered to stay a night at Casabrina Vacation Villas. It is located at Raub, Pahang. I am collaborating with them for my brand's activity and the villa manager told me that I must experience it personally as words just can't describe the experience there. And I don't think I can afford to even spend a night as the price range is from RM1500 - RM3000 (depending which villa you take) for a night!

Co-coincidentally we arranged to be last weekend and it didn't interrupt my weekend with Leroy as he was also away for his company trip. So, the timing was perfect!

I extended the night stay invite to my team member, who is assisting me with the brand. So, both of us had some bonding time together.....

I drove both of us there. It was a very different experience, driving through the country side, kampung roads to the villa. It is located about 1 hour plus from Karak highway.

The above is one of the landmark that you should look out for when nearing the villa.

Finally, we arrived safely. Oh my...the villa is just so beautiful and exclusive. There wasn't any guests that weekend but only the both of us. Really and only exclusively for us!

There is buggy service to take us to our villa. We can also opt to walk as the distance is not too far from the reception - which was also the main villa where the owner lives.

After checking in, we were introduced to the owner. He is a very nice, friendly man.

This is the living hall at our villa. It is an open concept....well equipped with cooking utensils, coffee machine, fridge  stove, cutlery, right down to wine glasses.

 Here...the both of us sharing the exclusive experience that is very hard to come by.

It made me feel as if I was holiday-ing overseas...somewhere is Bali or so.

The villa is based on Balinese concept....all of the furniture and interior are made and designed by the owner himself.

Oh my.....I was living in heaven for a night.....

Good news!

I was stressed and busy with work as I've mentioned in my earlier post.

After 6 months of hard work, I am a confirmed staff by mid month. I received a text message from my GM this morning (saw it when I woke up closed to 12 noon..hehehe)... I guess she was happy to share the good news on a Saturday. She thanked me for the effort in work. And yes, I worked very hard for it...

I shared the good news with my closed ones and showed her message to my mama when she was in my room. Mama said :" I've never been worried about your career / work, but I am more worried with your ........."

I was speechless. I didn't know how to answer her. Do you know what she was referring to?

Oh no...!!!!!

Can't believe I have not been blogging for almost 1.5 months now..... Yeah, sorry guys...I have been busy, super tied up with work. I had 2 launch promotions done and there are more to come.....!

Exciting, exciting and busy...very busy!

Pre Monday Syndrome (PMS)

Yes, PMS in my dictionary also means Pre Monday Syndrome.

I had this feeling 3 years back and now I am feeling it 2 times more than before. I have been in this new job for almost 4 months now, but I still have this crappy feeling. I wanted to confide or ask someone why am I having this feeling - I tend to worry and think about my work on Sundays. I work on Sundays in between the day and before I spend sometime out with my darling. 

I wonder if it is because I am slow in doing my work or is it just too much on my plate or is it just that I still haven't fully adapted to the super fast moving industry?

I wonder, I ponder and I hope there is an answer for me soon..... It really makes me uncomfortable.

I have read an article before stating that a person should be enjoying what he or she is doing ; approximate 50% is what the person knows what to do; 50% is the job provides new learnings and experiences. If it is 70% of unhappiness with the job, meaning the person is not the right fit and should look for other opportunities. 

And I wonder....

A belated birthday celebration with my besties

My besties celebrated my belated birthday today after all of them got back from their hometown post cny celebration.

We had the celebration at Rakuzen,  Publika. Leroy had to work so he couldn't join all of us. The girls gave me an awesome lunch and pressies. The best moment was to have baby Cloey with us. :)

Just a week apart...

After a long week for me, I finally met up with him. I've pre-booked movie tickets for last night. 

He picked me up from home and off we headed to Setia Walk. I celebrated his birthday with him last night as today is the eve of the lunar new year and everyone will be having reunion dinner. During the journey there, we did some catching up and he updated me on some exciting news.....Can't wait for the positive outcome soon!

(This was given to him earlier as his birthday gift)

So, we had dinner at Brussels. Took quite awhile to have the food served. 

Finally, after about 20 minutes, the food was served.

And....we had a photo together to jot down the celebration together.

Paid up and we had a round of snooker as it was still early for A Good Day to Die Hard. It was my first time patronizing this new TGV. It's huge but it's quite a long walk as it's located at level 5.....

I had a great night with him!! We had a good laugh over something (hehehe...it's between the both of us)...every minute with him was awesome!

Got another year wiser last weekend...

Last week was my birthday celebration. For the first time after soooooo many years, I didn't have to work on my birthday as it was a federal territory public holiday. 

Over the weekend, family and friends took me out for dinner.... 

With friends, we had Chili Rush. I brought the guys to try out the spicy chicken wings....

This Chili Rush pizza was yummy! Spicy and crispy.

I've upgraded the spiciness of level 4. I find it spicy, but the guys were ok with it...

And finally, ice cream with warm brownie to cool down the lips.

Sunday, had lunch with family at my favourite restaurant; for my favourite cuisine.

We ordered quite a bit that day...

Tofu salad. First time trying it. It was a bit bland though...

...And this was the surprise gift from my darling... :)

Pre Chinese New Year Lunch

We met up last Monday as we didn't meet up for awhile now. We had a pre-CNY lunch at Sushi Tei, Tropicana City Mall, before everyone goes back to their hometown for the Lunar New Year celebration.

 We ordered so much food that day.....phew! The table was practically filled with dishes.

I had a great day even though it was the final day of the long weekend. A day spent with great company!
