Shopping Malls were beginning to have their Chinese New Year decoration set up since 2 or 3 weeks back to create the festive season ambiance to shoppers...and this is KLCC's set up.

Bibi Wok's new facelift
Haven't been here for dinner for quite some time now. I was there last night to enjoy their Tom Yum soup with meehoon. Yummers....
They renovated the place. It seemed more open and bright now as compared to previous times, it was more dark woody ambiance.
Place looks good, the quality of food remains the same. :)
New discovery
Had dinner at a new place on Friday night at Setiawalk. We popped by this newly opened Japanese restaurant called something Tokyo something (sorry, can't remember the exact name, it is located next to Overseas Restaurant, diagonally opposite Brussels ) and surprisingly the service was good and quite a lot of patrons.
While flipping through the menu deciding on what to order....I spotted this - DINOSAUR SUSHI. Check out how big is it?
Well, we weren't really hungry that night, so we ordered a set at RM26.90 and a plate of sushi to share. Prices are reasonable and good service! Taste of the food, acceptable.
Rushing chili to the tongue...
We met up for a catch up session.
We wanted to go to Bon Bon on Thursday, but too bad it was closed due to the public holiday. So, since we were craving for cakes and I haven't tried this restaurant, we headed to Chili Rush at Jaya One. Thanks to my bestie's recommendation.
We tried out the spicy chicken wings. There are 10 levels of spiciness! We weren't being overly adventurous, so we had level 3 and it was rather quite spicy for me already......But I enjoyed it.
I had their mushroom salad. Very nice and I highly recommend it to you, if you are ever there. By the time we were done with our main dish, we were to full for cakes. So instead, we bought home. Their Red Velvet is really soft, juicy and nice......
Perhaps you should try it one day?

D'Italiane at Paradigm Mall
We found a new place to dine in....nice ambiance and prices seem reasonable, in-line with the portion of the food.

I like this drink....my favourite Mango + yogurt....
Check out the dishes!
This is Olio Aglio...
..and Salmon Risotto...my favourite (even though it might not look appealing to certain people) !
A sign of concern
Adding on to my post on What I did Last Saturday...I communicated with my man as he was out of town with his friends for a short trip.
I was telling him about the warehouse sales that I was going to and he was concerned about my where-abouts that day....if I was home safely...

What I did last Saturday
Wow....I just realised I have not been blogging for the past 2 weeks. I am really tied up with work and by the time I got home, I feel exhausted and just don't feel like doing anything......
Anyways, here are some updates...
We met up since November 2012. This time we pre-celebrated one of our besties; birthday since she is back from Singapore for the weekend. 12pm, I strutted into this restaurant. It was empty and I was the second to arrive.
I was feeling tired so I decided to have a booster - coffee!! Hmm...not quite my cup of tea - Vietnamese coffee....
The restaurant was till empty besides having us there till almost 1pm. I wonder how the business sustains with such low (no) crowd.
After lunch and a session of chit-chat, we went on to our separate ways. I went to pick another friend of mine up for a 'mini warehouse sales'. There were heaps of clothes for adults, but I didn't get myself anything; instead I bought 2 small dresses for my 'god-daughter'. The kids' clothes were just too cute and sweet to resist.
I called this the 'lil Audrey Hepburn' dress and my bestie called it the "Chanel" :P
This is a sweet one....just in time for CNY!!!!
After the 'shopping', we headed off for tea at the near by cafe/ restaurant.
And....my usual...Latte...yumss....
We also tried their Sambal Chicken Wings..... tasted good! Nom...nom....nom....
We chatted till about 5pm and that was when I dropped my friend back at her car....I was supposed to head for home..but I detoured to Setiawalk for a quick check-out- ala- CNY shopping at the new boutiques there... Walah!! I managed to get myself a top and a dress...... :D So happy....
Finally, it was 7pm when I was done. I hurried to meet up my family for dinner.....then my 'stress' started after dinner.....WORKING TIME!!!! There were so much work to complete before today as I am out of office till tomorrow.... *eeeekkss......* Worked till 2am and called it a night. To be continued on Sunday.

I feel good....
Yes....I felt happy and good last night...let me tell you why...
It all started 3 years ago when I joined P&G. I started to know this bunch of colleagues....but after a year of service in the company, I've decided to move on to do what I like best.
Last night was the wedding day of the couple whom I witnessed they started off dating and how they work in the same company...and now being husband and wife. A true cute couple...
This was the little token of appreciation.
While it was the wedding day celebrating the newly weds, I had a blast meeting up with my ex-colleagues. I was utterly surprised that some of them whom I didn't really deal with remembered me....for example the new on-boarded HR manager and the Sales Director. He remembered my name and was happy to see me again. Hmm.......
Some of them purposely flew back from Bangkok and Singapore (got posted there) to attend the wedding. I was really happy to hear some good news for a few of them. It was a great short reunion for me.
These people were in the same batch as me, and 2 of them were my senior.
...and this is my ex-manager. She was happy for where I am attached now and what I am doing...thank you for trying to me retain me back then, but also thank you for letting me go....
My buddy who started almost on the same day as me. Could still remember the field work days.... :)
And Ms Tay (on the left)...she was another person who was so happy to see me again. She hugged me and literally told me that she missed me. Hehehe...I remembered how I used to ask her for data....
Overall, it was a great night. I am truly happy that people remembers me (for something) because it was really a short tenure in P&G compared to the rest of them. 1 year and it made an impression for others to remember. :)

Hugs at Huck's
I managed to arrive at Huck's Cafe last night after a super heavy traffic outside of Mid Valley. Phew! Thanks to the rain. Huck's Cafe is actually operating from a single storey bungalow at Jalan Abdullah, Bangsar.
We pre-booked a table for 10 via Facebook and paid a deposit. This is a totally new experience for me. Well, because I totally couldn't guess what my dinner dishes were like. All I requested for was seafood. Some of you out there might have known about this place. They don't take walk in customers and doesn't have a menu until the very day itself as the chef will pick the best available out in the market for the day's cooking. This applies for the main dish and desserts.
We were welcomed with this pinkish soda drink. Tasted yummy... :)
The waiter came to take our order in a unique way. He informed us a few different way of cooking styles for each type of meat and checked who wanted which style of cooking. So, we made our selection....
The below is Guiness Meat Pie (beef)
Lamb shank
Whole baked fish with spaghetti
Meat Loaf (beef)
Seafood pasta (assam taste)
Beef steak
Creme Brulee for dessert
And mine came last.....seafood pasta with angel hair pasta.
Chocholate mud pie ice cream
Great food, great company...! So much laughter and jokes after a long week at work.
And before we left at midnight, we had a photo with Huck Seng, the chef and owner.

Excited about it...
I received a reply and I am very excited now! I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that it will be approved.
Patience....patience and perseverance....!
*Maybe I get excited easily? :P
