Life

Life is too short to be wasted and taken for granted.

It was just in the evening that I was chatting with MG, just before she left for home. We were talking about work and she advised me not to be so stressed up and should take work easy. Take life easy. “Life is short and we should enjoy and cherish it and the people around us while we still can”.

This is very true. So true.

Later in the evening, I received news. News which wasn’t good at all. It was my friend’s grandma who had left this world. She left this morning. I don’t have the full details, but I know this friend of mine and family will definitely be mourning and grieving for the loss of their loved one.

I knew she was not well for a period of time. I supposed (and hope) it was due to old age and she didn’t suffer any pain before she left.

She was a very nice lady; cute in a way too. A head full of silver hair she had. She used to greet me with a smile and held my hand whenever I paid her a visit last time. She used to smile cheerfully, relaxing on her comfortable leather chair whenever I was at her house. She looked so happy, looking at her great-grandchildren running around and playing in the hall. Her kindness and unconditional love will be unforgotten.

I know that she will be with God, up in heaven. The place she belongs to now. She will be in peace, watching us from above; smiling.

Here is a short prayer:

Dear God, I pray that my friend and family will be strong despite the loss of their loved one. I am sure you will definitely take good care of Grandma. You will hold her hand and take her under your loving and caring wings. There she finds peace. I also pray that You will grant my friend and family strength to get over this sad hurdle.

She will be in our heart always. Forever.

You will be always in my prayers.

A white rose for purity and peace.

  1. No... Life is long! People don't think so only because they wasted their life doing useless stuffs or lingering on useless thoughts.
